The Taste Museum(R)
The Taste Museum® is the only structure of its kind in Italy and is located in the Piedmont area, only 5 km from Pinerolo and 30 km from Torino. Together with the International Cooking School, it makes up the Center for Typical Products called ARGAL.
The Museum offers a virtual journey that traces nutrition from the prehistoric era up to modern day, itineraries for the discovery of various foods, sensorial and multimedia stations dedicated to the 5 senses, taste paths in art, cinema, commercials, and the roads of taste, garden and orchard as well as didactic laboratories for every type and level of school. The Museum also has a Wine Boutique, a stopping point on the Royal Road of Turinese Wines, with DOC wines from the Turin Province. There is also a rich offering of itinerant exhibitions, photographic documentaries, recipe videos and publications with a scientific library that is also specialized in magazines devoted to this sector. Within it’s structure and spacious courtyards, the Museum hosts: shows, conferences, gatherings, tastings and buffets. The International Cooking School offers courses for the CF IQ Training Agency of Pinerolo, and, in addition to professional and amateur courses, seminars in individual station classrooms and tastings. The entire structure is accessible to the handicapped.

Firmato il Protocollo d'intesa per il Museo del Gusto Sicilia
Si estende e si rafforza la Rete Nazionale dei Musei del Gusto, ed è la volta della Sicilia. Lo scorso 13 gennaio presso il Centro di Cultura Gastronomica “Molino Excelsior” di Valderice, comune della Provincia di Trapani, è stato sottoscritto il protocollo d'intesa tra l'Associazione “Trapani Welcome” e l'Associazione “Amici del Gusto” di Frossasco, finalizzato alla creazione della Rete Nazionale di “Musei del Gusto Regionali” e alla realizzazione del “Museo del Gusto Sicilia” inteso come strumento per la conduzione di attività ed azioni che valorizzino le produzioni enogastronomiche locali e del comparto agroalimentare, e il territorio, anche in un'ottica turistica, per potenziarne l'attrattività.
